 Croatia vs Spain: A thrilling clash for the UEFA Nations League title

Croatia and Spain will face each other in the final of the UEFA Nations League 2022-23 on Monday, June 19, at the Stadion Feijenoord in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. The match will start at 12:15 AM IST and will be live streamed on Sony LIV and telecast on Sony Sports TEN 2 channels in India.

Both teams have reached the final after overcoming tough challenges in the semi-finals. Croatia beat the tournament hosts Netherlands 4-2 in extra time, while Spain edged out Italy 2-1 with a late goal.

This will be the first time that Croatia will play in the UEFA Nations League final, while Spain will be aiming for their first title after finishing runners-up in the previous edition.

The two teams have a history of exciting encounters, with Spain winning five and Croatia three of their nine previous meetings. The most recent one was in the round of 16 of the UEFA Euro 2020, which Spain won 5-3 in extra time after a thrilling comeback.

Croatia, ranked seventh in the world by FIFA, have a talented squad led by captain Luka Modric, who won the Ballon d'Or in 2018. Other key players include Ivan Perisic, Mateo Kovacic, Ante Rebic and Andrej Kramaric.

Spain, ranked 10th by FIFA, have a young and dynamic team under coach Luis Enrique, who has given opportunities to new faces like Pedri, Ferran Torres, Mikel Oyarzabal and Carlos Soler. The experienced Sergio Busquets, Jordi Alba and Koke provide leadership and stability.

Both teams play an attractive and attacking style of football, with high possession and pressing. They also have quality players who can score goals from different situations. The final promises to be a high-octane clash between two of the best teams in Europe.
