 Leo First Look Poster Breaks the Internet: Here’s What Fans and Critics are Saying


the first look poster of Leo, an upcoming Tamil action film starring Vijay in the lead role. The poster shows Vijay holding a blood-stained sledgehammer, with a fierce expression on his face. The film is directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, who previously worked with Vijay in Master (2021). The film also features Trisha, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Sarja and others in supporting roles. The film is scheduled to release on 19 October 2023.

According to Wikipedia, the film is made on a budget of ₹250–300 crore, and Vijay reportedly decided to take the revenue sharing model, to benefit the film's production. The film's music is composed by Anirudh Ravichander, who also collaborated with Vijay and Lokesh in Master. The film's cinematography is handled by Manoj Paramahamsa and editing by Philomin Raj.

The first look poster of Leo was released on Vijay's birthday, 22 June 2023, and received positive response from fans and critics alike. Many praised Vijay's look and Lokesh's direction, and compared the poster to Hollywood standards.   The film's non-theatrical, digital and overseas rights were sold at record-breaking prices. 

The film's shooting began in January 2023 in Chennai, and later moved to Kashmir for some portions. A video of Vijay from the shooting spot in Kashmir was leaked online, creating a buzz among his fans.  The film's shooting is expected to wrap up by mid-July 2023.
